Man Falls From Walnut Tree in Handwara, Dies

Handwara, Sep 11 : A 37-year-old man died after falling from a walnut tree in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday afternoon, reports and officials said.

Reports reaching said that the man identified as Nazir Ahmad Bhat son of Ali Mohammad Bhat of Agagam Rajwar fell from the walnut tree and was immediately evacuated to a nearby hospital wherefrom he was shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

A police official confirming the incident to GNS said that the body is being handed over the family for last rites. (GNS)
