Promising Visit of Union Ministers to J&K

Date:

Launching a new public outreach program in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Central Government has deputed a panel of Union Ministers who have been assigned to visit different districts where they will be meeting local social and political delegations.

This is a stark demonstration of Centre’s concern for the growth and development of J&K as this quorum of Ministers will review the progress of various projects and share the related details with New Delhi.

The arrival of this delegation has raised hopes among the people wherein they find it to be a reliable medium to convey their persisting grievances and demands. Many political and social organisations have been given appointments in order to share their concerns with the Central Ministers.

Though it is being considered as a much-needed move, the success of this visit depends solely on its deliverance and resolution of the public pleas. The people are fed-up with lip devotion and empty talk. They crave for development and stability.

From developing roads to the construction of dams, the delegates have received numerous appeals that are primarily linked with the infrastructural upgradation and speedy completion of the ongoing projects.

There is a growing tendency among the people who now yearn for a perpetual normalcy and stability in the region. Businessmen, traders, industrialists and labourers desire to grow and have a dignified life. But it all depends on the government if it appositely resonates with their genuine demands.
