Srinagar, 07 October: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Thursday conducted elections for electing three block presidents of Sopore Segment.
The elections to elect three Block Presidents of Zainagir, Sopore, and Tujjar Sharief were conducted transparently under the supervision of concerned Election In-Charge and Observers.
The election process was carried out transparently. Among others North Zone President Javed Ahmed Dar, district president Baramulla Dr. Sajad Shafi Uri, GN Bhat, JS Azad, GH Rahi, Muhammad Yaqoob Wani, Irshaad Kar, Dr. Syed were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, a number of educated youth joined the party fold today here at party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar. Those who joined the party fold today include Abdul Rouf Bhat and Muhammad Iqbal Bhat of Gupkar. The new entrants were welcomed by the party general secretary and provincial president into the party fold. While as on a separate occasion Raabia Qayoom, Urfena Muneer, Shabnum Rayees, Asma Ashraf, Tabassum Jabeen, and Salma Ji joined the party’s Women’s wing in the presence of State Women’s Wing President Shameema Firdous and Provincial President Women’s Wing Er. Sabiya Qadri.
