Srinagar, Oct 16 : An army man died after shooting himself using his service rifle in Tsuntwari in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, official sources said.
They told GNS that the army man identified as P. Harish Kumar, serving in 21 Mahar shot himself fatally while on duty at Forward Post. He was shifted to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar, where the doctors however declared him as brought dead on arrival, they said.
It was immediately not known why the soldier took the extreme step. (GNS)
