Srinagar, Oct 26: Senior leader Ruheena Shahzad on Tuesday expressed deep shock and grief over the death of Dr Syed Zahoor Geelani, father-in-law of renowned journalist and Kashmir Dispatch editor Syed Basharat, who passed away after a brief illness in a hospital at Delhi.
In her condolence message issued from here, Ruheena described his demise as very sad and a sign of humility, generosity and sincerity.
“Dr. Zahoor has also served as the Block Medical Officer, whose honesty and selfless cooperation earned him immense respect. I express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, especially Syed Basharat and his family.
Ruheena Shahzad has prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family to bear an irreparable loss.
