Srinagar, Nov 10 : Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) on Wednesday thanked Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for announcing one time age relaxation for the aspirants who are going to take part in the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Jammu and Kashmir Police.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch, National Spokesperson of Association Nasir Khuehami expressed gratitude and thanks to Lieutenant Governor for taking the matter seriously and resolving it on priority basis. “This will provide great relief to unemployed youth of J&K,” he said.
He said that a delegation of the association met the Lieutenant Governor and brought the matter into his notice last month, Association highlighted and vigorously pursued the matter with the J&K government and today it yielded desired results.
Khuehami said that Lieutenant Governor has paid its valuable attention towards the SI aspirants, who are going to take part in the recruitment of SIs in Jammu and Kashmir Police.
“The decision is totally in favour of SI aspirants. In tough times, this decision is a welcome and appreciable step. The move comes as a big sigh of relief for people during these tough times of competition and unemployment,” he added.
