Baramulla, November 11: In order to educate DDOs with regard to implementation of National Pension System (NPS) in an effective manner, a day long NPS Training Session was today organised by District Treasury Baramulla here at Govt Degree College.
The Programme was presided over by Director Accounts & Treasures Shaheen Mohd Ashraf.
On the occasion, Mehraj U Din from district Treasury Baramulla imparted a detailed training through Power Point Presentation. The training was attended by all DDOs and dealing assistants of the district.
While addressing all the DDOs and officials of finance department, Director Accounts gave a detailed presentation about the historical perspective of NPS and its benefits. He said that the main focus of the workshop is to make proper implementation of NPS System and resolution of problems being faced by the contributors and deduction authorities at different levels.
Moreover, The participants were educated about their roles and responsibilities with regard to effective implementation of NPS.
District Treasury Officer Baramulla, Shaziya Rasool, all DDOs operating at District Treasury Baramulla and Sub- treasures of Baramulla besides officials of finance department were present on the occassion.
