Srinagar, March 31: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari expressed grief over the devastating fire incident that broke out yesterday at Noorbagh -Eidgah.
While demanding rehabilitation for the fire affected families, he sought measures for their early restitution and called on to the concerned Tehsildar and Administration to provide immediate help to the victims.
In a statement issued here, Bukhari said that this incident has shattered the hopes of the families who have no place to go to.Taking into consideration numerous fire incidents in the valley, he also directed officials to immediately conduct awareness on causes and control of fire accidents in all the circles of the district.
“The district administration must disburse ex-gratia relief to the fire victim families on a prompt basis. Besides paying an adequate compensation, the concerned authorities must ensure that a temporary shelter is provided to the fire victims at an earliest and without any fail,” he demanded.
