Srinagar : The digital address of Dr Mohan Bhagwat, the Rashtriya Swayamsewak (RSS) chief, for Kashmiri Pandits was streamed live at seven different places in Kashmir valley.
Kashmiri Pandits along with other sections of the Kashmiri society gathered at these seven places to listen the speech of RSS chief. Three of these gatherings were in Srinagar district, while remaining four gatherings were in Anantnag and Baramulla district, each district having two separate gatherings.
The online digital event and the gatherings of Kashmiri Pandits were organised by Sanjeevni Sharda Kendra. Sanjeevni Sharda Kendra had organised this programme as a part of its three day Navreh celebration programme. Dr Bhagwat’s speech was meant for the celebration of ‘Shaurya Diwas’. Dr Mohan Bhagwat in his address, expressed hope for the honoured and dignified return of the displaced Kashmiri Pandits in the valley. He also evoked the names of cultural figures associated with the history of Kashmir, namely, Shreya Bhat, Lalitaditya and Guru Teg Bahadur.
