NC District President Rural from Rajouri alongwith team joins Apni Party in Jammu

JAMMU, JUNE 18, 2022: National Conference’s District President Rural of Rajouri District alongwith dozens of other supporters today joined Apni Party.

The joining programme was organized by Apni Party Vice President Choudhary Zulfikar Ali at the Gandhi Nagar Office of the Apni Party.

In this programme, the Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari welcomed the National Conference leaders led by District President Bushan Uppal into the Party.

While welcoming them into the Party, he hoped that the roots of the Party would be strengthened in the hilly district with the joining of senior leaders from the National Conference.

Prominent among those who joined Apni Party in presence of Altaf Bukari sahab include Sahib Singh, Abdul Hameed, Raj Kumar, Rajeev Sharma, Dev Raj, Manohar Lal, Suram Chand, Rattan Lal, Pawan Kumar, Mast Ram, Dwarka Nath, Yash Paul, Ramesh Lal, Baldev Raj, Subash Chander, Vikas Uppal, Chaman Lal, Sham Lal, Muneer Hussain and others.

In his address, Altaf Bukhari hoped that they would work with the Party under the leadership of senior leader, Choudhary Zulfikar Ali in Rajouri district where the Party has also extended its base.

Bukhari said that the Party’s policies are being widely accepted by the people from all the regions without any bias.

“We work for the people of all the regions without any kind of discrimination. J&K has suffered from the last seven decades at the hands of the traditional political parties as the divisive politics gained ground with no development in the remote places,” he said.

He said that “J&K’s has potential in tourism in Rajouri and Poonch yet the Tourism Department has failed to explore the unexplored areas. Mughal Road was the main attraction for the tourists not only from J&K but from outside but the facilities which should have been provided by the Govt lack any vision.”

He said that Mughal Road is a major tourism hub and it must be promoted on the world map of tourism as it has picturesque views and lofty mountains and Mughal Sarai.

“The tourism department must involve the local administration and chalk out a plan to explore the tourist spots all along the Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch Highway and develop them with the help of Panchayat Members,” he said.

He asked the Party leaders and workers to work to upgrade the standard of life of the people in these twin border districts of J&K i.e., Rajouri and Poonch.

Apni Party senior leaders who were present in the joining programme include Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Chairman Parliamentary Board, Dilawar Mir, State General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya, Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh, Additional Spokesperson, Senior Adv Nirmal Kotwal, Provincial Vice President Jammu Ex-MLA Faqir Nath, Additional General Secretary (Organisation), Arun Chibber, District President Kathua, Ex-MLA Prem Lal, State SC Coordinator, Bodh Raj Bhagat and others.
