Sopore : The army’s 52 RR Sunday organised a Tiranga rally taken on bicycles in which hundreds of youth and children participated with great enthusiasm here in Sopore.
The rally was held after the successful boat Tiranga rally held in the waters of Jhelum.
An official said that living up to the motto and traditions of the Indian Army ‘Seva Paramo Dharma’ the Amargad Army Camp of Uplona Rashtriya Rifles organised a Tiranga cycle rally in Sopore under the aegis of Headquarter 10 Sector Rashtriya Rifles.
The event was organised to mark the 75th anniversary of Independence day.
On this occasion, people from all walks of life were seen expressing great joy and happiness.
Hundreds of youngsters, children and enthusiastic citizens joined the celebrations with people greeting them all along the route.
The Tiranga rally marked an outright statement of the youth of Sopore that they have already joined the path of development and success with this joyous celebration of Aazadi ka Amrit Mohotsav.
