Stresses on work at micro level to build a cadre for the party

JAMMU, Aug 25: Apni Party State General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya today chaired a meeting of office bearers of the Apni Party Youth Wing and held a detailed discussion on various issues faced by the youths of Jammu and Kashmir as well as strengthening of the youth wing.
While acknowledging the good work done by the Youth Wing to highlight social issues through bike rallies and demonstrations, Bakaya stated they needed to work at the micro level and build a cadre identifiable at the booth and mohalla level.
He said that, “The joining of youth in the Apni Party was a good sign but this was not enough. They should be trained to be volunteers of the Apni Party who will spread its message of being a truthful, people friendly Party.”
He further said that, “the High Command expects the Youth Wing to make a greater impact as it was the spine of the Party.”
Meanwhile, the General Secretary Youth Wing Abhay Bakaya and Provincial President Jammu Youth Wing, Vipul Bali also expressed the hope that the Party High Command would encourage the real and dedicated workers by giving them due place on the stage and time to speak like all heads of Wings.
They also said that their holding of regular meetings should be facilitated by the High Command with the required support.They suggested that visiting cards be prepared officially for all office bearers to enable them to get access to Govt officers for solving public grievances..
In his address, Additional General Secretary Apni Party, AK Chibber exhorted the Youth to spend more time in the field to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
Provincial Secretary, Dr Rohit Gupta also mentioned that proper channels should be followed in order to ensure discipline and participation of all in the activities of the Youth.
Later, Vijay Bakaya assured that necessary support would be provided and greater initiative to reach out to the people should be taken.
Additional General Secretary (organisation) Arun Kumar Chibber, Provincial Secretary / District President Jammu Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta, State General Secretary Youth Wing, Abhay Bakya, Provincial President Jammu Youth Wing, Vipul Bali, Provincial Vice President Youth Wing, Joginder Singh, District Vice President Jammu Urban, Vaibhav Mattoo, Provincial Secretary, Vishal Jothsi, Senior Vice President District Youth Wing, Sandeep Vaid, District Secretary Youth Wing, Ankush Dogra and others participated in the meeting.
