Sopore, Sep 13: Vice Chairperson (VC) J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) Dr Hina Shafi Bhat on Tuesday said that since past 40 years people of Jammu and Kashmir have been victims of militancy that has hit its economic prosperity colossally.
Talking to the reporters at the sidelines of a function in Sopore, Dr Hina Bhat said that this is a “Golden Era” where government is working tirelessly & transparently without giving any room to nepotism or corruption.
“People should wait for the new beginning, a new dawn that will be marked with prosperity & development,” she said.
She added as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent that it is for the first time that Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a visible change in terms of development and people should co-operate and await to see a better & progressing Kashmir.
Senior BJP leader said that things will not change within a day as it needs some time to change the circumstances that had been responsible for bolstering division in the society.
She also hinted towards the failure of previous Governments who had were unable to redress the issues of common masses while saying that there will be no politics in regards to development and no one will be allowed to do politics in the name of development.
