Demand redressal of various grevirances

SRINAGAR, Oct 9: Few days after Fee Fixation Committee enhanced transportation charges of private schools, various parent associations staged protest in Srinagar.
As per Kashmir Despatch, The protesters demanded implementation of FFRC and various Government renment orders that safeguard the interests of parents who’s children study in private schools.
The protesters demanded transfer of Director School Education Kashmir, for non implementation of many FFRC orders which are in favor of parents.
They also demanded the education department to stop corporal punishment in Schools.
“The Education Department must Stop Illegal admission fee being charged by Schools in the name of security deposit etc etc. The Education Department must regularly check their quality of Education in private schools and check if teachers are being paid legitimate salaries on time or not. “
The protesting parents also demanded investigation by police of few Private school associations, for misleading the High court and to gain illegal benefits from student community, as mentioned in FFRC order dated 9th September 2022.
“Reconsider Uniform Academic Calender in consultation with Schools, parents, and academicians and then take a decision,” they demanded.
