A woman was killed after lightning struck a village in the Poonch district of the Jammu region.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that a woman in her 30’s lost her life when lightning struck in the Balakote area of Mendhar last night.
The deceased woman was identified as Saleema Kousar daughter of Mohammad Zaman.
Reportedly, she was on her way to give fodder to the cattle in a cowshed when the incident happened.
