Baramulla: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday rescued a commercial vehicle driver and passengers who were travelling in the vehicle, which met with an accident in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that many passengers sustained injuries in the road mishap when a sumo collided with another vehicle.
Local reports said soon after the incident, a team of police and soldiers rushed to the scene and rescued all the injured passengers, including the driver.
The injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where all are said to be stable.
