Baramulla Jan 16:-The aspirants of Jammu Kashmir service selection board (JKSSB) staged a peaceful protest against JKSSB for giving exam contract to a company which is already blacklisted.
Scores of Aspirants JKP SI,FAA and class IV assembled in front of Karipa park baramulla and staged a protest against JKSSB and raised slogans against it.
“JKSSB is playing with our future,our exams have been canceled already. I have completed post graduation in Physics,my father is a labour by profession and is now 55 years old. Now I am a lone bread earner for my family with continuous cancellation of exams . I am doing labor work with local contractors’ ‘,said one of the protesters while talking to Kashmir Despatch.
The protesters raised slogans like,’we want transparency’,we want justice,Youth against corruption.
“JKSSB has given an examination contract to App-Tech company which had already been blacklisted in six states.We have received messages that answer keys will be released on 30th but instead of 30th the answer keys had been released on 28th”,said Javaid Majeed one of the protesters.
He also said that we are depressed. Already three exams have been canceled by authorities due to corruption.
“Seeking an opportunity, I had applied for FAA posts but after the cancellation of exams, now I am working in a private company on a salary of nine thousand per month”,he added.
The protesting aspirants demand exams under the authorities of J&K Administration as soon as possible.
The protesting aspirants demand LG intervention and demand early held of examination with transparency.
