Afzal Shahi’s Poetic Collection “Ess Che Pardareik” released in Bandipora

Bandipora, December 05: Literary Forum Bandipora on Sunday organised a function to release Poetic Compilation of Mohammad Afzal Shahi, “Ess Che Pardareik and “On the Banks of Red River” Under the aegis of Adbee Markaz Kamraz.

President Adbee Markaz Kamraz Mohammad Amin Bhat was the chief Guest on the occasion while General Secretary AMK Shabnum Tilgami, Shahbaaz Hakbari, G N Zahid and other noted poets were present on the occasion.

The programme started with Qirat by Azad Hussain Azad while Shabnam Shabir recited Naat-e-Sharief.

Later programme formally started with presentation of detailed Book Reviews by Vice President LFB Mir Tariq and Kaiser Lone.

The reviews set the debate and speakers talked about different aspects of the book. They said the poet has aptly represented the collective feelings, emotions and aspirations of the people besides highlighting the social, political and religious scenario of the society that fulfills the basic aim of literature.

The Book consists of 64 poetic collections written in diverse topics including 34 ghazals, 24 nazams and other genres.

On the occasion , Books were released by the chief guest while LFB presented a recitation, Momento and a Shawl to Mohammad Afzal Shahi as a mark of respect for the author.

Speaking on the occasion, President AMK, Mohammad Amin Bhat said Bandipora is living up to what it is famous for including Alim, Adab abd Aab. He said the book had been added to the rich Kashmiri literature making it more stronger.

He congratulated the author and Literary Forum Bandipora for organisinng the event and hoped that more such programmee will held in future. He said such programmes provide a platform to other budding writers, poets and scholars to interact with seniors and learn from each other.

Bhat said by seeing the young writers and poets participating in the programme despite chilling cold, he strongly believe that Kashmiri Language is not going to vanish like other languages as it’s in strong hands and making a strong come back from past few decades.

Mansoor Muntazir conducted the programme while LFB Mubashir Saleem Nazki presented the vote of thanks.
