Baranulla, Sep 07 : In a shocking allegation, a youth leader Mudasir Rasool from Watergam area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, who has been affiliated with the Jailed MP Er Rashid’s led Awami Itehad Party (AIP), termed the AIP as being “on sale”.
Speaking to the media as per Kashmir Despatch, Mudasir Rasool said that the party has been given a special task to campaign wherever there are National Conference (NC) candidates.
Mudasir leveled some serious allegations against the party, saying that the AIP has completely forgotten its principles and has been asked to compromise at many places, which he said he cannot do at all.
He said that for the past one month, he has been trying a lot to change this decision, which is no longer for the welfare of the people.
Mudasir said that since the past one month, he has been under a lot of pressure, but he cannot deceive his people or cheat them, as this party is completely a proxy and is “on sale”.
He said this party is on a mission to be the vote-splitter for other political parties.
Mudasir said that today, after consulting with his entire team of workers, he is abandoning this party and also seeking an apology from the people that the party’s slogan was “Emaan Bejo Na Ba Na” (Pledge your faith, no no), but today, its slogan has become the opposite, “Emaan Bejo Haan Ba Haan” (Pledge your faith, yes yes).
Mudasir said that the coming time will further expose this party, as it has completely forgotten its basic principles and is working as a proxy on the ground. He said he is leaving this party and will not be a part of it anymore, at least for the sake of his people.
