Srinagar, Mar 31 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir next week amid the ongoing anti-terror operation in Kathua.
Sources have informed Kashmir Despatch that during his visit, Shah will hold a high-level security review meeting in Jammu to assess the current security situation.
He will also visit the Indo-Pak International Border (IB) to evaluate the security arrangements and meet with security personnel, the sources added.
Notably, security forces are engaged in a substantial anti-militancy operation in the Kathua district, where four policemen and two Pakistani militants were killed in a fierce gunfight last week.
