Ananthnag: Fire mishap damages 2 shops, 3 injured in road accident

Ananthnag, Nov. 01: Two shops suffered damage in a fire mishap in south Kashmir’s Anantnag on Tuesday officials said.


An official told Kashmir Despatch that a fire mishap was reported at Batengoo Anantnag on Monday night resulting in damage to two shops including one Kiryana Shop of Sonaullah Mir Son of Mohd Subhan Mir and one Cosmetic Shop of Javaid Ahmad Mir Son of Bashir Ahmad Mir.


The officer said that short-circuit is said the cause of this fire mishap, however, police registered a case in this regard and started further investigation.


Meanwhile, three persons were injured in a road accident near Larnoo Bridge, an area of south Kashmir’s district Anantnag district on Tuesday morning.

As per details available with Kashmir Despatch, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK07AM 0220 hit with an Auto bearing registration numberJKO3F 3247.
In the mishap, three persons sustained injuries and were immediately taken to GMC Anantnag for specialized treatment.


Police took cognizance of this road mishap.
