Baramulla, May 01 : The number of drug peddlers arrested in the month of April rose to 30 in north Kashmir’s Baramulla.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch reads, Baramulla Police arrested one more drug peddler namely Showkat Ahmad Khan S/O Gh Mohd Khan R/O Nadihal Rafiabad (employee of PHE Deptt) along with 650 grams of contraband charas like substance during naka checking at Janbazpora Baramulla by P/S Baramulla.
In this regard case registered and investigation taken up.
General people of Baramulla lauded the efforts of Police for eradicating the drug menace in the district.
The statement further reads that with this fresh arrest the toll rose to 30 in a single month.
