Army’s 52 RR organises medical camp in Sopore village
Sopore, Oct 05 : Army’s 52 Rashtriya Rifles on Monday organised a medical camp in outskirts of Sopore.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch reads, on 05 Oct 20, Amargad COB of UPLONA Rashtriya Rifles Batallion organised a medical camp at village Pethseer for people of Seer-Jagir belt.
The medical camp treated over 150 patients of different age groups following all Covid19 protocols.
Camp was organised with an aim to provide basic medical facilities along with free treatment for economically weak section of society.
Patients were also given medicines as per prescription.
Pethseer and nearby villages have no government medical facilities hence a large turnout of villagers especially ladies was seen.
During the camp, people were also distributed with free masks and were sensitised about various measures for Covid19 precautions.
All villagers were overwhelmed with the initiative and requested for more frequent events of this sort the army statement reads.
