Srinagar : Afghan army killed at least 52 Taliban militants, including two key comanders in Ghazni province on Sunday, reports said.
According to reports, up to 52 Taliban militants were killed following three separate Afghan National Army commando operations and airstrikes against since early Saturday, Xinhua news agency reported the Defense Ministry as saying.
The two commanders were identified as Abu Khalid and Qumandan Sarhadi, it added.
The Ghazni province, 125 km south of Kabul, has been in the news for heavy clashes and fighting since long time.
However, the Taliban has not commented on the incident yet.
