Awantipora Police facilitated an interaction meeting with the retired Police officers & officials of the Police district Awantipora held at District Police Office Awantipora . The meeting was chaired by SSP Awantipora Shri Sajjad Ahmad Shah-JKPS.
At the outset of the meeting, retired police officers appreciated Awantipora Police for organizing such meetings to review the progress of welfare measures being taken by Police. During the meeting various issues were raised which were patiently heard by the SSP Awantipora.
SSP Awantipora assured them that their genuine problems will be resolved on priority. He further added that Awantipora Police is always keen for the welfare of retired police personnel and their family members.
While concluding he expressed gratitude for their participation in the meeting and added that Jammu and Kashmir Police will never forget their sacrifices while discharging the duties. He appreciated the role played by them by spending their golden years in the service of this department & emphasised on them to consider police department as a family and share their problems with us in case of any exigencies.
