Bandipora, Sep 11: The Jammu and Kashmir police have busted a sex racket in Bandipora district of North Kashmir on Wednesday, arresting three individuals including a woman.
Reports indicate that a police team from the police post Ajas, acting on a tip from reliable sources, conducted a raid in a house at Saderkot Bala where they rescued two minor girls.
Quoting an official source, the local news agency reported that the investigation has revealed that a resident of S.K Bala was involved in the trafficking and exploitation of the minor girls.
A case has been registered under FIR No. 161/2024, under Sections 3, 4, 5, and 7 of the Immoral Trafficking Act, and further investigation has commenced.
