Beacon engineer missing in north Kashmir’s Kupwara

Kupwara: A junior engineer of Beacon went missing from Kralpora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday afternoon, police said.

A police official said that they received a complaint from the commanding officer of Beacon station at Meelyal in which he said that a junior engineer presently posted at Meelyal station has gone missing.

“A missing report has been lodged at Kralpora police station,” said a police official at Kralpora police station.

According to the complaint, the engineer, namely Rabinder Kumar Singh of Orrisa, left from Meelyal Beacon station Kralpora and was yet to come back. “His phone is switched off. We have initaited the investigation,” he said.
