Srinagar, July 7 :BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul on Monday said that the party’s presence is steadily increasing in Jammu and Kashmir, especially in the Kashmir Valley. He said more and more people, particularly youth, are joining the party across various districts and constituencies.
Koul said, “BJP’s presence in Kashmir is growing rapidly. People are showing trust in our policies, and many new members, including young people, are joining us regularly.”
He also said that while BJP has so far avoided protests, the party will not hesitate to take to the streets if the people’s genuine demands are ignored.
“If needed, BJP will come out on the streets, hold demonstrations, and raise its voice to get public issues addressed,” he said.
Referring to former Deputy Mayor Sheikh Imran, Koul said that blaming others won’t hide his own failures. He also welcomed the formation of new political parties, saying it’s a part of the democratic process and everyone has the right to participate.
“We will continue to strengthen our party, and if others want to form their own parties, that is their democratic right,” he added.(KNS)
