Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday expressed his grief over the death of noted Kashmiri medico Muneer A Masoodi, who passed away at his residence in Srinagar this morning.
Besides serving as a medical professional, Dr. Massodi has been an administrator at several hospitals in the Valley during his professional career. He was the co-brother-in-law of prominent businessman Syed Iqbal Khan.
In a statement issued here, Syed Altaf Bukhari said, “I am sad to learn about the demise of Dr. Masoodi. May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace and grant him the highest place in Jannah and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.” Paying tributes to the deceased, Bukhari said, Valley has lost an illustrious figure whose demise is a loss to society.
