Candidates raise questions over conduct of J-K Legal Services Authority job exams

Date:

Srinagar, Nov 13 : Candidates who appeared for entrance exams of Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority (JKLSA) have raised questions over the transparency of exams by the authority.

The candidates who appeared in the exams for five posts of legal assistants said that in the name of exams it was a mockery and raised eyebrows over its transparency.

More than one thousand candidates appeared in the exam for Junior Legal Assistant but were disappointed over its transparency.

According to Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) JKLSA had advertised 59 different posts in March this year and held exams for these posts at different dates.

“It was a mockery with aspirants. The JKLSA didn’t show any seriousness in the conduct of the exams. The question cum answer was on a single paper, and candidates didn’t get any question paper with them,” aspirants said.

They said the paper booklet was unsealed with no serial, no barcode. “It had no exam invigilator signature option. No OMR sheet,” they said

The aspirants raised serious doubts and apprehensions on JKLSA recruitment process and said that the previous exams held for other posts were also conducted in the same manner.

The aspirants have appealed the LG Manoj Sinha to ask JKLSA for re-conduct of the exams for these posts in a transparent and serious method.

“The exams were held in a non-transparent manner with an objective to favour blue eyed candidates of the JKLSA officials,” the aspirants alleged. (KDC)
