SRINAGAR, June 13: In a shocking development, ex-minister Taj Mohiuddin, along with property dealer Vijay Kumar and Raj Kumar Gupta, finds himself entangled in a legal web as they face charges of deceit and fraud. The trio stands accused of swindling an unsuspecting individual by luring them with false promises of land ownership in Jammu.

A case has been registered under FIR number 89/2023, invokes stringent sections 420 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), signifying the gravity of the alleged offenses committed. The victim alleges that they were tricked into believing that they would gain possession of a substantial 72ftx30ft plot in Nandani village, only to be left empty-handed and financially compromised.

Denying the accusations, Taj Mohiuddin vehemently refuted any wrongdoing and asserted that he had indeed sold the land in question, having received full payment for it. He attributed the allegations to nothing more than political vendettas, stressing that he has never engaged in any fraudulent or deceptive conduct towards anyone.

Displaying his earnestness to address the matter, the former minister offered to furnish the concerned individual with the necessary land documentation upon receipt of the remaining sum owed. Alternatively, he expressed a willingness to refund the advisory fees previously provided if the person is unwilling to proceed with the transaction.

As investigations continue, the controversy surrounding Taj Mohiuddin and his alleged involvement in this dubious land deal scandal continues to unfold, leaving the public and political circles in anticipation of the truth.
