SRINAGAR, MARCH 08: Former JK Pradesh Congress Mahila General Secretary Shaishta Zehra, IT Head Mudasir Wani, District Youth President Budgam Rameez and others joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today at Church Lane. The joining ceremony took place in the presence of Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Org), J&K, Waqf Board Chairperson (MOS) Dr Darakshan Andrabi along with other senior BJP leaders.
Welcoming the new entrants, Koul emphasized the BJP’s commitment to inclusive development, good governance, and strengthening grassroots democracy in Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that the growing support for the party reflects the trust people have in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a progressive and prosperous J&K.
The newly joined leaders expressed their faith in BJP’s leadership and policies, stating that they were impressed by the party’s dedication to development, national integration, and people-centric governance. They pledged to work diligently to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
