COVID-19: JK records 14th death, deceased man reports positive

Srinagar, May 18 : The Jammu and Kashmir recorded 14th death due to deadly Coronavirus as one more positive case from south Kashmir’s Ananthnag has died at Chest Disease Hospital on Monday.

Head of Department at Chest Disease Hospital, Srinagar, Dr. Naveed Nazir Shah confirmed to Kashmir Despatch that the reports of deceased turned positive for COVID-19.

With his death, the death toll due to COVID-19 has mounted to 14 in Jammu and Kashmir including 12 from Kashmir division and two from Jammu division.

Pertinently, earleir Authorities at CD hospital said the deceased was admitted as positive COVID-19 patient then his sample turned negative now again he tested positive.
