CRPF 53 Bn Brings Healthcare to Doorsteps: Free Medical Camp Held in Malpora, Baramulla

Date:

CRPF 53 Battalion organised a free health checkup and medicine distribution camp in North Kashmir’s border district at village Malpora, Baramulla.

The aim of the camp was to provide health checkups for all residents of Malpora and adjoining areas. Throughout the day-long camp, hundreds of elderly men and women visited, receiving consultations from doctors of the Jammu and Kashmir Health Department as well as CRPF doctors.

This initiative highlights the CRPF’s commitment to local communities, showing that beyond their battlefield duties, the 53 Bn is also dedicated to the health and welfare of residents.

The event was inaugurated by senior residents of the village, in the presence of Sanjeev Kumar Sharma Commandant 53 Bn, Prem Pratap Singh second-in-command, R.K Yadav and Kishan Yadav Assistant commandant and Rupali Singh Dysp probationary (Now SHO Sheeri).

A local resident, who had been dealing with health issues, expressed gratitude: “I was facing some problems for the past few days. When I heard yesterday that CRPF 53 Bn was conducting a medical camp in our village, I came here because I couldn’t reach the hospital. I’ve now received medicine from the camp. We hope more such camps will be held in the future.”

Commandant 53Bn Sanjeev Kumar Sharma said: “Since early morning, we’ve seen excellent support from the local community, who helped spread the word across villages that the camp was being organised by CRPF with special doctors offering free checkups and medicines.”
