Kupwara, June 10 : In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Trekker Sameer and Mr. Majid, also known as Mann té Salva, have etched their names in the annals of adventure as the first-ever cyclists to conquer the Kalaroos Caves.

Situated in the scenic Kupwara district, these caves have long been a source of fascination, attracting visitors from neighboring areas and earning a reputation as a popular picnic spot.
Embarking on an arduous journey spanning over 125 kilometers, the intrepid duo navigated treacherous terrain and tackled challenging uphill climbs to accomplish this awe-inspiring feat.
The route took them through the midpoints of Lashtyal and Madhmadu villages, where they encountered the enigmatic ‘Satbaran,’ a massive carved stone that boasts seven doors, locally referred to as ‘SathBarr.’ The origins of this intriguing stone structure remain shrouded in mystery.
