Devlali, Maharashtra – The Bhusawal Division of Central Railway has announced significant upgrades to passenger amenities at Devlali Station. The Foundation Stone for the redevelopment of the station was laid by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on February 26, 2024, with a total project cost of ₹10.44 crore.
The transformation of Devlali Station includes modern infrastructure and improved conveniences for commuters:
- Circulating Area & Parking: The space has been expanded and well-developed to ensure smooth traffic flow and better passenger movement.
- New Entry Gate & Porch: The station now features an enhanced façade that offers a more welcoming entrance.
- Platform Improvements:
a. Platforms have been resurfaced.
b. The canopy over platforms has been extended for better shelter and passenger comfort. - Divyangjan Facilities:
a. Accessible toilets have been renovated.
b. Two new water stands have been added for specially-abled passengers. - New Booking Office: A new structure has been constructed to enhance ticketing services.
- Garden Landscaping: Beautiful green areas have been developed in the circulating zone.
- Office Upgrades: Workspaces have been improved to enhance operational efficiency.
- Passenger-Friendly Additions:
a. Two lifts have been installed for better platform accessibility.
b. The executive lounge, ticketing, and reservation offices are now air-conditioned. - Power & Lighting Enhancements:
a. A 62.5 KVA DG set with an AMF panel has been installed.
b. Two high mast and two stadium mast lights have been added.
c. Auto-dimmable lights have been implemented at platforms, foot overbridges, and offices.
d. Garden lighting features aesthetic octagonal poles. - Improved Signage & Identity:
a. New signage boards have been erected.
b. Trilingual station name boards have been introduced for better visibility and inclusivity. - Reliable Power Supply:
a. A new substation has been constructed.
b. The cable and panel-based supply system has been enhanced.
These improvements mark a significant step towards enhancing the passenger experience at Devlali Station, making it more convenient and accessible for all travelers.
