Srinagar : The Srinagar girl who topped in class 12th examination for which results were declared this evening said that failure is a part of life and the ones who didn’t qualify should not be disheartened as life is too big.
In an exclusive interview with Kashmir Despatch, Aroosa Parvaiz a resident of Alahi Bagh 90 ft Srinagar said that it would have been good to see boys in the topper list as both genders worked hard to achieve this success.
“I was not expecting to get such a remarkable percentage , however it’s really amazing. I worked hard and the result is here. The prayers of my parents, the guidance of my teachers did the rest”, the topper in the medical stream with 99.8 % said.
A relative said that Aroosa came to know about her results from her teacher and she started crying.
Commenting on the results, Aroosa Parvaiz said that she is happy to watch the top positions being claimed by female candidates, however it would have been good if boys too were in the toppers list.
“I want both shine the genders to shine as all worked very hard,” she added
She appealed to the student community to believe in hardwork as this plays a part in the success.
The Board of School Education (BOSE) on Tuesday declared annual regular results of 12th standard of Kashmir division with an overall pass percentage of 75 percent, among the 72 boys and 78 girl students.
