Father passed away
Syed Abdul Rashid Shah, a retired Divisional Forest Officer and father of Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Secretary Tourism and Culture passed away after brief illness on Wednesday.
His funeral prayer was offered at Peerbagh where people from all walks of life participated and the deceased was laid to rest at their ancestral graveyard in Nishat.
The Fateha (Chahrum) will be observed on Saturday at 11 am at their ancestral graveyard Nishat and then at J-55 Govt Quarters Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar.
