Awareness programme cum road show about drug abuse was organized today by Tehsildar Chitragam Shah Naji Ullah Ahsani at Central public higher secondary School Chitragam (Kalan) Shopian.
The aim of the initiative was to raise awareness among the students about the menace of drug addiction.
Speaking on the occasion of the programme Tehsildar said that there is an urgent need of organising such awareness programmes to prevent our young generation from indulging in drug addiction.
The road show was also organized in which huge number of students participated.
The drug de-addiction programme was attended by around Hundred of students from different institutions, school administrators and Senior Citizens of the area.
