Kishtwar April 21, 2021. Continuing its drive to eradicate drug menace from the society, Kishtwar Police arrested one drug peddler in Atholi and recovered Cannabis (charas) like substance from his possession.
While divulging detail SDPO Atholi Sh. Pardeep Singh Sen, said that the police had develop a specific information of sale and purchase of drug. Acting on this information a special naka was established at Dhundi Morh led by PSI Vishal Singh assisted by ASI Babu Ram alongwith his team apprehended one notorious drug paddler namely Manohar Lal S/O Suram Chand R/O Gunhal Palali area of Padder .On search, 380 Gms of Charas was recovered from his possession.
On this, case FIR No. 10/2021 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act got registered at P/S Atholi
Further investigation of the case is going on.
General Public is requested to come forward with any such information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt with heavy hand as per law
