Srinagar, Sept 14 : An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Nowgam area of Srinagar district on Wednesday evening, police said here.
Kashmir zone police, informed that the encounter started in the area on a specific information generated by police.
Police said that Police and Army’s 50 RR were i. job and further details will be shared accordingly.
“On a specific input generated by Police, an #encounter has started in Nowgam area of #Srinagar District. Srinagar Police and 50RR are on the job. Further details shall follow,” police tweeted.
