RAMBAN, Febr 24: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Jammu, is set to conduct its flagship outreach and grievance redressal program, ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’, at the Conference Hall, DC Office, Ramban, on February 27, 2025 (Thursday), from 10:45 AM onwards. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between EPFO and its stakeholders by addressing grievances, raising awareness about social security provisions, and providing handholding support to both employees and employers.
The Regional Provident Fund (P.F.) Commissioner, Jammu, will personally oversee the event, ensuring that workers, employers, pensioners, and representatives of various establishments have their concerns heard and addressed. The session will cover critical topics such as grievance filing procedures, digital services, fraud prevention, and employees’ rights concerning employers.

Key Focus Areas of the Program:
The awareness session will educate stakeholders on various EPFO schemes, including:
Provident Fund (PF), Pension, and Insurance
Filing grievances through EPFiGMS, CPGRAMS, and other official portals
Digital services such as e-Nomination, online claim filing, KYC updation, and Principal Employer Dashboard
Enrollment and activation of Universal Account Numbers (UAN), Aadhaar and bank seeding, and e-sign registration
Filing of ECR (Electronic Challan cum Return) for employers
A special Pension Help Desk will also be set up to assist pensioners with on-the-spot grievance redressal and queries related to pension schemes.
Appeal to Employers and Industries
The P.F. Commissioner, Jammu, has urged all industries and establishments to extend social security benefits to all eligible employees from the very first day of their employment. The session will also sensitize employers about PF provisions, compliance requirements, and updates related to pension and insurance schemes.
Since November 2019, employees of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh have been benefiting from the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and an enhanced quantum of Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976, which now provides coverage of up to ₹7 lakh.
The EPFO, Jammu, welcomes feedback and suggestions from stakeholders during the program and encourages active participation from employers, employees, industry representatives, and workers’ unions.
With its focus on transparency, accessibility, and resolving stakeholder concerns, ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ aims to strengthen social security awareness and ensure efficient service delivery in the region.
