Five injured in leopard attack in Handwara Village

Handwara, April 29 : Five persons on Wednesday were injured when a leopard, attacked them in Porpath village of north Kashmir’s Handwara.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said A leopard entered Porpath village in Handwara and attacked atleast five persons in the area. The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital for treated reports added.


Among five injured three persons were identified as Manzoor Ahamd Dar, Ghulam Mahidin Dar, and Mushtaq Ahamd Dar, however, the identification of the other two were not known immediately.


Meanwhile, a police official also confirmed the injuries of five persons in the leopard attack to Kashmir Despatch and said Wildlife department have reached the spot and efforts to catch the leopard.
