Forces launch search operation in Pattan village

Srinagar : Forces this afternoon launched a cordon and search operation in north Kashmir’s Pattan village.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a joint team of Army’s 29 RR, SOG and JK Police sealed Goshbuk village in Pattan and conducted house to house searches there.

Following inputs about suspicious movement of militants in the area , search operation has been launched police official told Kashmir Despatch.

When filed this report searches in the area was on.

Pertinently, last week Baramulla Police arrested one militant from Pattan village during search operation.
