Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh Passes Away at 92: Cnfrm AIMS Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 26 : Former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, passed away on Thursday at the age of 92. He was undergoing treatment for age-related medical conditions.

According to a statement released by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), as accessed by the news agency JKNS, Dr. Singh suffered a sudden loss of consciousness at his residence earlier in the evening. Immediate resuscitative measures were undertaken, and he was rushed to the Medical Emergency at AIIMS, New Delhi, at 8:06 PM.

It reads as, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Dr. Singh could not be revived and was declared dead at 9:51 PM.

Notably, Dr. Singh, a distinguished economist and statesman, served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014. Known for his integrity, intellect, and significant contributions to the nation, his passing marks the end of an era in Indian politics.
