Furniture stolen from newly constructed passenger shed in Langate, FIR registered*

Handwara, June 18 : Three steel chairs have been stolen from a passenger shed in Langate area of Kupwara district, reports said here on Saturday.

Reports reaching said that steel furniture estimated cost of 15 thousand had been stolen from newly constructed passenger shed in Langate town, following which FIR was registered in a nearby police station.

Meanwhile, an official of R&B department said that the passenger shed was recently constructed and was yet to handover to Langate Municipal Council, but unfortunately some miscreants have stolen the furniture yesterday.

He said that an FIR has been registered in Langate police station regarding the same reported news agency KNS.
