Ganderbal Declared COVID-19 Positive Free District

GANDERBAL : After the message from DC Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal informing that district has been declared COVID-19 positive free, the admin has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the selfless and timely efforts put in by the administration especially police.

I convey congrats to my Ganderbalians for declaring Ganderbal as COVID free district today as all the earlier 14 COVID Positive cases have recovered and stand discharged from DH Ganderbal .

Further the reports of 31 samples taken on 30.05.2020 have been received and all are negative,DC shared the massage on his official Twitter account.

DC hailed the the efforts of the frontline warriors including doctors, paramedical staff, nurses, district police Ganderbal led by SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal other concerned officers and officials, public representatives and all social and religious organizations and volunteers who have extended their voluntary services to supplement the efforts of the Administration in the fight against COVID-19.

The administration also congratulated the general public of Ganderbal district and urged them that everyone must wear masks and ensure observance of the guidelines and advisories that already stand issued by the authorities so that the COVID-19 pandemic is completely eradicated from the district.

He also appealed everyone to take care of their personal hygiene as well as the hygiene of their homes and sorroundings.
