Ganderbal Police seals shop, arrests shopkeeper for violating lockdown orders

GANDERBAL: According to officials a police team of Police Station Kheerbawani along with magistrate sealed a shop and arrested one shopkeeper at Dangarpora Chowk central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district for violating the lockdown orders issued by the District Magistrate Ganderbal, in view of COVID-19 Pandemic.

A case FIR No. 09/2020 U/S 188 IPC stands registered against the Violator in Police Station KheerBhawani.

Investigation, in this case, has been taken up.

The locals of the area have appreciated the efforts of Police for implementing the safety measures to minimize the spread of the COVID-19.

Ganderbal Police again requests the general public of District Ganderbal to follow the restrictions/advisories imposed by the government and isolate themselves in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 for their own well being.
