Srinagar, August 07 : Newly appointed Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said that genuine grievances of genereal public will be listened for redressal.
He said several projects have started here after years and my priority is to take those projects forward.
Talking with the reporters in the sidelines of post oath ceremony Sinha termed Kashmir as heaven of India, and said that I’ve been given an opportunity to play a role here.
The oath was administered by Chief Justice of J & K High Court, Gita Mittal.
Pertinently, Manoj Sinha, a senior BJP leader and former Union Minister, was appointed as Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir after Girish Chandra Murmu resigned Wednesday.
Murmu has been appointed as the new Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India.
