“With a view to devising a mechanism for deploying Junior Scale JKAS Probationers of 2019 batch, who after completion of their Training Programme are scheduled to report in the General Administration Department for regular posting, it has been decided to seek preference of services from these probationers, which would only be indicative in nature and shall not be construed to confer any preferential right upon these probationers for claiming deployment in any particular department, as per the choice, which would be decided in the best interest of the administration after taking into account requirement of officers at this level in different departments,” the circular said.

It further said that it is enjoined upon all the Junior Scale JKAS Probationer of 2019 batch to indicate the preference of services (on the proforma, link provided below), which should reach the General Administration Department 18 of August, 2021.
